Dr. Temple is the owner and founder of OpenMind Psychological Services. She is a licensed clinical psychologist in Virginia who specializes in conducting developmental, psychological, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological evaluations for individuals of all ages.

Dr. Temple has extensive experience conducting assessments for individuals with autism, intellectual disability, traumatic brain injury, ADHD, ADD, learning disabilities, and social-emotional disabilities. For the last 12 years, Dr. Temple has provided consultative services and conducted evaluations in a wide variety of public and private school settings throughout the greater DC area. In addition to evaluations, she conducted program and school observations, consulted with educational advocates and attorneys, and has testified as an expert witness involving various aspects of mental health and education as related to children.
Dr. Temple received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg Virginia. She then moved to Arlington Virginia where she received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University. Prior to receiving her doctoral degree, she completed an APA accredited internship at The May Institute in Massachusetts, with primary rotations at the May Center for Education and Neurorehabilitation and the Fernandes Center for Children and Families at Saint Anne’s Hospital. While there, she completed developmental evaluations, functional behavioral assessments, and behavioral therapy for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and traumatic brain injury.
