In the words of one of our patients:
“I would like to thank Dr. Carlton for being a life changer for me personally. After struggling from a bad case of anxiety since my late teens which stemmed from a head on car accident, and many years later with lots of money spent on treatments, and all being temporary band aids, Dr. C fixed me! I was desperate for help and one day I called and set the appt up and next thing I know, 2 to 3 months later the anxiety never reared its ugly head again.
I was fixed. After completing my sessions, I was able to pass 5 major exams in 7 months which normally takes people years to finish in the finance industry and which lead me to take a position with one of the biggest financial Global firms. I am forever grateful to Dr. C. He changed my life.” Harris H

About a month in, although I did feel improvement - I was concerned that I do everything possible to get better. I researched EMDR therapy - again I wanted to do ANYTHING to feel better and I felt that would be beneficial in conjunction with the neurofeedback. Dr. Carlton was concerned about this being detrimental in the headspace I was in and he requested I give this more time, and he recommended I come more often (I had been coming 2-3 times a week and I increased frequency to 4-5 times per week). He indicated he felt very confident he could help me and he requested for me to just pls allow more time. I trusted his judgement and within a couple more weeks of increased frequency of treatment, I was noticing more and more improvement.
Along the way of my treatments I got to know all of the staff, and they have become like family to me. They are empathetic and caring. They got to know me, and truly I felt they were invested in my journey. They hugged me, talked to me, and just made me feel understood and not alone. They were so patient with my emotional state.
I came in June desperate and feeling as if my symptoms and situation was not something I could live with and I was not sure anyone could help me. It is now November and my life has drastically changed. I did not require EMDR and I met all of my therapy goals. I was able to eliminate one of my meds and feel soon I will not need the Zoloft I was prescribed.
When I came - All I wanted was my depersonalization symptoms to improve when I came - which they are now completely eliminated - but additionally I noticed so many other improvements…. I don’t have anxiety, I process information more clearly, I can move through emotions, I can focus more intently - my work performance has improved. Running, which is one of my favorite pastimes, has improved for me without any other changes.
I am a true believer in this therapy, and I cannot say enough positive things about this entire experience. If you are on the fence - DO THIS!!! It can change your life.
My daughter is now coming to help treat her OCD symptoms and I am confident this will help her and I am excited to see this help her as much as it has helped me.
When my wife first brought up the idea of neurofeedback therapy, I must admit I was very skeptical. I did not quite understand how it worked or how it could possibly make a difference. Like many husbands, I eventually decided to trust her instincts and follow along, and I am so glad I did.
The results have been nothing short of life changing for our son. We have seen remarkable improvements not only in his focus and emotional balance but also in his overall confidence and happiness. Watching him grow and thrive through this process has been one of the most rewarding experiences for our family.
A special thank you to Valerie, who kept us updated on our son’s weekly progress and was always willing to help with any questions or adjustments along the way. Her communication and support made the entire process smooth and reassuring.
Dr. Carlton’s knowledge, patience, and dedication, combined with the warmth and professionalism of his entire team, have made this journey an incredibly positive one. We are truly grateful for the difference they have made in our son’s life and in our family as a whole.
And a special shoutout to Valerie at the front desk—she’s absolutely amazing! From the moment you walk in, she makes you feel welcomed, cared for, and at ease.
For over 20 years, I’ve battled major depressive disorder (MDD), high anxiety, PTSD, and insomnia. While medications helped at times, I constantly had to adjust dosages, switch prescriptions, and add new ones just to remain functional. By April 2025, I hit a breaking point—emotionally overwhelmed and unable to regulate my feelings, I had to stop working. I was already on the maximum dosage of my medications, and even with additional prescriptions, I continued to suffer from daily, debilitating panic attacks.
Desperate for alternatives, I tried an immersive therapy retreat, which helped temporarily but wasn’t a solution. I explored TMS treatments, but the physical discomfort was intolerable. Esketamine was suggested, but as someone committed to sobriety, I didn’t want to rely on a chemical that altered my state of mind.
Feeling hopeless and emotionally exhausted, I was fortunate to be referred to Dr. Carlton in June 2025. Even in my foggy mental state, his website videos resonated with me. During our consultation, he explained everything in a way I could understand and showed genuine empathy for my situation. Cautiously hopeful I began treatment in July.
Within just a few sessions, I noticed real improvements. My insomnia began to ease, PTSD loosened its grip, and the panic attacks became less frequent and intense. I could finally regulate my emotions again. Six weeks into treatment, I was seriously considering returning to work after a four-month hiatus. By mid-September, I resumed part-time work, and after my 40th session, I’m preparing to return full-time next week.
This treatment works. It has helped me more than I ever imagined possible. My case is complex, and I’m continuing treatment with cautious optimism that I may eventually reduce or even eliminate some medications—something I never thought was possible.
I’m deeply grateful to Dr. Carlton. His care and approach have not only changed my life—they’ve saved it. And for the record, he’s not allowed to retire anytime soon!
What sets Dr. Carlton apart is not only his expertise but also the atmosphere of care he and his team create. The staff are consistently kind, attentive, and welcoming. They make every encounter feel safe and supportive— which, as a parent, means everything.
One of my daughters is continuing her journey in musical theatre, and it has been so beautiful to see her carry the confidence she has gained here onto the stage. The growth they’ve both experienced is not just clinical progress; it’s life-changing.
Dr. Carlton and his staff have given our family such a gift, and we recommend them wholeheartedly to any parent considering neurofeedback. The impact has been nothing short of remarkable.
